The Swedish eight-man team playoffs are something that has to be experienced. It is unlike all other bowling competitions anywhere. All eight teams, that qualified to this weekend during the entire years league, brings their own supporters, and they are loud.
- The playoff weekend is an underrated sports experience, says the breakout star of the year Jimmy Wogel, Stureby BK:
- a bowling alley is so compact that it becomes a whole different pressure. It compares to a soccer game with a crowd of 25 000, it’s the same level of sound.

With the supporters singing songs, drumming, jumping up and down, the atmosphere they create is unique. Thanks to the one of a kind settings players travel to Sweden just to be a part of this. After last years finals, which was won by Team Clan from Nässjö, their Irish player Chris Sloan had this to say:
- This is the best competition I have ever played, nothing even comes close, this is fantastic.

On Friday the first match of the semi-finals is played, they are decided by best of three. And the reigning champions Team Clan from Nässjö will face BK Jösse from Arvika while the world number one Martin Larsen and his Team Pergamon from Gothenburg will take on Stureby BK from Stockholm.
- All four team are going to go with the feeling that if they have a good day they take home the gold, says Pontus Andersson, bronze medal winner in singles last year at the European championships and part of Team Clan.

On the womens side last years champions Spader Dam, with world cup winner Jenny Wegner, from Helsingborg will play against BK Högland from Nässjö and Team X-Calibur, Gothenburg, will meet B-K Eva from Stockholm in their semi-final.
- If your passion is playing bowling in a team this weekend is the best experience you can have, says Sandra Andersson, last years USBC Queens runner-up and part of Spader Dam.
